About Us

The Chicago Rabbits started in 2018 to run cross country after school season. It began with runners from St. Benedict who won the IESA State Championship and wanted to try competing nationally. During 2020, when COVID was tough, we expanded by including many runners from Chicago. We also added indoor and outdoor track to our calendar. We got bigger by inviting high schoolers to join our club before and after their school seasons for cross country and track. We enjoy competing in local meets, but our main focus is on five events: Indoor Nike Nationals, Outdoor Nike Nationals, Knights Nation XC, NXR and USATF XC Nationals.

Our Philosophy
At Chicago Rabbits, we're all about fostering the long-term love for the sport. Our training programs are designed with a focus on helping athletes achieve their goals consistently year after year. We aim to build confidence in our athletes, empowering them to reach their seasonal targets.
We encourage our runners to explore multiple athletic pursuits because we believe in a well-rounded approach. Balancing our training program with other sports not only enhances overall fitness but also contributes to a more resilient and versatile athlete. We're firm believers that dedication across various sports can lead to success, and we're here to support and nurture that dedication in every individual.
Our vision is to create an opportunity for athletes to specialize in running once they reach high school and continue to progress as athletes.
